I have been playing bass since 1981, inspired by legendary musicians who elevated the instrument to prominence: Steve Harris, Geddy Lee, Gene Simmons, Paul McCartney, and many others. What began as a youthful passion evolved into a lifelong commitment to the craft.
Throughout my career, I have transcribed over 1,000 bass lines entirely by ear—not at anyone’s request, but because this method provides the most effective way to comprehend the musical thinking of accomplished players. Each transcription featured on this platform reflects this dedicated approach: reducing tempo, identifying finger positions, documenting the notation, and practicing until the execution achieves perfection. Subsequently, I record a cover version and share it on YouTube.
My musical approach combines elements of rock, new wave, and progressive rock. I gravitate toward bass lines that possess their own melodic character—lines that would be noticeably absent if removed. This principle guides my artistic standards.
I began sharing bass cover videos on YouTube in 2010. My channel currently contains more than 1,600 covers featuring artists ranging from A Flock of Seagulls to Yngwie Malmsteen. My consistent objective remains unchanged: execute with precision, produce high-quality video, and distribute the content at no cost.
